The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to hold parliamentary hearings regarding the rights IDPs from Donbass and Crimea

According to Valery Patskan, a member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, parliamentary hearings regarding the rights of internally displaced persons are to be held soon.


“We will be able to discuss the issues that are currently of the highest importance to the IDPs. But first, we need to vote for the date of the parliamentary hearings”, – noted Valery Patskan.

All NGOs are invited to attend the hearings. Moreover, all executive bodies whose activities are somehow related to the IDPs, should take part in the discussions.

According to the UN data, the number of internally displaced persons from the Crimea and Donbass in Ukraine exceeds 1438000 persons.
