Sila Prava: The Legal Front. The Weekly Report, June 10 – 15, 2019
Sila Prava legal team do not take no for an answer as they continue their struggle against the aggressor by helping Ukrainians, who affected by the Russian military aggression against Ukraine.
- At District Court of Lychakovsk, Lviv region, together with the internally displaced person from Stanitsa Luganskaya, a multi-children mother, who raises her kids all by herself, Oksana Chayka, we established the guilt of the Russian Federation and proved that Oksana was forced to leave her home as a result of the Russian military aggression against Ukraine.
- At District Court of Tomashpolsk, Vinnytsa region, together with Valentina Pavlova, the mother of the deceased soldier Vadim Tarabanov (age 24), we proved the Russian Federation guilty in this horrible crime. Back in 2015, Vadim Tarabanov was once again drafted to the Ukrainian army (voluntarily) and served in the 54th separated mechanized brigade as an aide of the grenade launcher. He participated in battles on the Svetlodarska Duga.
- At Solomensky District Court of Kyiv, we helped Anna Andriyevska, an internally displaced person and journalist from the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, to get a court’s decision on compensation for moral damage inflicted as a result of the Russian occupation of the territory of Ukraine. Now, Russia must compensate as much as UAH 1 043 778.47 (nearly USD 35K)
