Chubarov: oligarchs attack activists blockade of Crimea

Refat Chubarov, Head of Mejlis of Crimean Tatars, tells about the attacks of the oligarchs and the challenges the activists have to face at the current stage of the Crimea`s blockade.

“We face numerous challenges. The oligarchs, who feel that we are not kidding, started attacking us. We will keep on blocking the occupied peninsula until certain legal provisions tying up trade between Crimea and the mainland are adopted”, – noted Chubarov.

September 20, 2015, the activists commenced continuous civil commodity blockade of the Crimea.

According to the blockade initiators, Ukrainian companies must immediately cease trading with the Crimea because the peninsula is occupied by Russia.
